Buchanan scored the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over Antwerp en route to a Man of the Match performance.

Buchanan joined Club Brugge in January after winning the 2021 MLS Supporters' Shield with the New England Revolution, where he became an instant fixture in Alfred Schreuder's side, making 11 appearances so far and starting out on the right wing for the Belgian outfit.
Club Brugge finished 2nd in the 2021-22 Belgian Jupiler Pro League table and are now competing in the thick of playoffs looking to secure their 18th league title.
