Villarreal announce signing of Canadian international Tani Oluwaseyi

Tani time has a new time zone.
Spanish club Villarreal announced on Friday the signing of Canadian international Tani Oluwaseyi to a deal until June of 2030.
He joins a Villarreal side that finished fifth in La Liga last season and qualified for this year's UEFA Champions League.
The Yellow submarines become a must-watch side for Canadian men's national team supporters, as Oluwaseyi is now teammates with Tajon Buchanan. The Brampton born Buchanan scored a hat-trick for Villarreal this past weekend against Girona, becoming the first Canadian to do so in the Spanish top flight.
Oluwaseyi departs Minnesota following three seasons in MLS, where he scored 18 goals and added 13 assists in 50 league matches. He has also earned 15 caps for Canada, scoring twice.
He was recently called up for Canada's next set of friendlies, against Romania on Friday, September 5 and Wales on Tuesday, September 9 in those respective countries. Both matches will be available live on OneSoccer.
