Valour FC sign experienced striker Anthony Novak
Valour FC announced the signing of veteran forward Anthony Novak on Thursday.
Novak, 28, joins Valour FC after spending the previous two seasons with Cavalry FC, where he appeared in 25 matches, scoring four goals, and adding two assists over 1,321 minutes played.
The four-year Canadian Premier League (CPL) veteran, who also previously spent two seasons with Forge FC, has appeared in 51 CPL matches between the two clubs, scoring 12 goals, adding six assists, and totalling 2,770 minutes. He also appeared in eight Concacaf matches, scoring one goal, adding two assists, and playing 353 minutes. He lifted the North Star Shield with Forge after both of those seasons.

In between playing for Forge and Cavalry, the Pickering, Ontario native spent time in Portugal with Condeixa.
Novak is the 13th new signing the Winnipeg outfit has made during a busy offseason, including U Sports players Guillaume Pianelli and Jordan Tisseur, plus Dante Campbell, Jared Ulloa, Jaime Siaj, Juan Pablo Sanchez, Eskander Mzoughi, Marcello Polisi, Kian Williams, Pacifique Niyongabire, Adbou Samake and Jordan Haynes.
