Valour FC announces return of midfielder Brett Levis
Valour FC announced Friday the club has re-signed Canadian midfielder Brett Levis.
Levis, 28, made 17 appearances, totalling 1,049 minutes played and 1 goal in 2021.
During the 2020 season, Levis made 5 appearances, totalling 384 minutes played and 2 assists.
“We’re very excited to have Brett back,” said Valour FC Head Coach & GM Phillip Dos Santos. “We know what he means for the locker room and the club. He adds experience, versatility and leadership for our young players. We’re excited to add quality to our roster and the addition of Brett does exactly that.”
Levis first joined Valour FC on January 30th, 2020 after spending the previous four seasons with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC (MLS) where he made a total of 23 appearances, scoring 8 goals.
At the national team level, Levis was named to the 40-man provisional roster for Canada during the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
