The Preliminary Round of the 2025 Canadian Championship wraps up this week with four mouthwatering single-elimination matchups.
On Tuesday, York United host Ligue1 Québec champions FC Laval, followed by a first-ever Canadian Championship edition of the Salish Sea Derby on Vancouver Island between Pacific FC and Vancouver FC.
Then on Wednesday, another all-CPL clash features Forge FC hosting the Halifax Wanderers, with the winner earning a two-legged quarter-final against CF Montréal. Then in Winnipeg, Valour FC host TSS Rovers, looking for revenge against the League1 BC side who eliminated them in the 2023 edition. The winner faces three-peat champions, the Vancouver Whitecaps, in the quarter-final.

Matchweek six in the Canadian Premier League features a Saturday triple-header with action from coast to coast.
That includes undefeated Halifax Wanderers hosting defending CPL champions Cavalry FC in a thrilling CPL on TSN clash.
It all starts in the nation's capital, where top of the table Atlético Ottawa host bottom Valour FC, who will be desperate for their first CPL win of 2025 and to prove doubters wrong. The matchday concludes on Vancouver Island, where Pacific FC host York United in a rematch of the past two playoff 4th vs. 5th matchups.
