The 2023 CPL - U SPORTS Draft took place on Thursday, with expansion outfit Vancouver FC adding two more potential player signings to their growing roster ahead of their inaugural campaign, and the remaining 7 Canadian Premier League teams looking to scour even more talent out of the U SPORTS university soccer ecosystem with plenty of domestic - and cross-country - picks of their own.

University of Toronto sophomore defender Anthony White was the first overall pick for Vancouver FC, with the B.C. native returning home to try and secure a CPL contract.

Vancouver rounded out their picks - both the first and second were given to the expansion side - with Toronto Metropolitan University forward Ameer Kinani.
