DEAL DONE ✅ Jonathan David ready to dominate Serie A with Juventus? 🇮🇹 | OS DIRECT ⤴️
Canadian men's national team striker Jonathan David has signed a 5-year contract with Italian giants Juventus FC, the club announced Friday.
David, 25, joins the Bianconeri as a free agent having seen out the end of his contract with French outfit Lille OSC, where he won the Ligue 1 title in 2020-21. Over the course of five seasons in France, David scored 109 goals and recorded 30 assists in 232 appearances across all competitions, and joins Juventus as one of the most sought-after signatures in world football.
"Growing up as a kid, I always looked up at a club like Juventus and said, you know, this is probably one of the top 10 biggest clubs in the world," David told the club on his introduction day. "So for me, today, to be sitting here? It's an honour."
David's signing caps off a busy summer, having most recently captained the CanMNT at the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup. For his country, David has scored a record 36 goals in 67 appearances.
