The CanWNT answered plenty of questions regarding their goal-scoring with a resounding win over Trinidad and Tobago to kick off their 2022 Concacaf W Championship quest. Watch the highlights HERE.

The Canadian women's national team kicked off their 2022 Concacaf W Championship campaign with a huge result, defeating Trinidad and Tobago 6-0 to open their group stage in resounding fashion.

A sole effort by Christine Sinclair marked the 1-0 advantage in the first half, as the Canadian icon scored her world-leading 190th goal on her return to the Canadian XI.

While Trinidad and Tobago held firm through the hour mark and survived a missed penalty by Jessie Fleming, the floodgates soon opened as Julia Grosso scored her first-ever Canada goal in the 67th minute, then added a second moments later to give Les Rouges a healthy 3-0 lead.

Questions of goal-scoring circled this team ahead of the match, but those were answered loudly, as Fleming, Janine Beckie and Jorydn Huitema all found the back of the net to bring Canada to a 6-0 victory.

Canada returns to Concacaf W Championship action on July 8, 2022, taking on Panama (10PM ET / 7PM PT, available LIVE on OneSoccer)
