HIGHLIGHTS + ANALYSIS: CanMNT book 2023 Gold Cup spot with win vs. Curaçao

The Canadian men's national team have booked their place in the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup after defeating a 10-man Curaçao 2-0 in Concacaf Nations League action on Saturday, mathematically guaranteeing a top 2 finish in their group to secure their place in the summer tournament.

First-half goals from Jonathan David and Cyle Larin secured a straightforward victory for Les Rouges, who will now look to defeat Honduras on Tuesday at BMO Field in Toronto to secure top of the group, and participate in the 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League Finals.

A win would also help maintain a top 4 ranking in Concacaf, which is key to qualifying for the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League Quarter-Finals ... where a win in *that* stage secures a spot in the 2024 Copa America.
