The Canadian men's national team earned a 1-0 win over Suriname in Leg 1 of their 2024-25 Concacaf Nations League quarter-finals series, taking a slim lead back home to Toronto for next Tuesday's Leg 2 clash as Les Rouges hunt for their first piece of silverware under Jesse Marsch.

A late goal by Junior Hoilett proved the difference between the two nations on the scoreline in this one, with Jonathan David playing provider for a one-touch finish that saw Hoilett celebrate his 16th goal for country.

Canada next takes on Suriname on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at BMO Field, with tickets available on Ticketmaster.
