The Vancouver Whitecaps have advanced to the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship and will have a shot at defending their back-to-back Voyageurs Cup titles after defeating Pacific FC 1-0 at BC Place on Tuesday evening, 2-0 on aggregate after two legs in the semi-finals.

A go-ahead goal by Ryan Gauld, fresh off a Scotland national team call-up, gave the 'Caps the lead, though at the cost of Brian White, who was soon after taken off after a ball hit him hard on the head and forced him down injured.

But despite the injury, the Whitecaps were rarely troubled, cruising comfortably to their victory and booking a date with Toronto FC in the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship final.
